Encourage One Another Bible Verses

It can be difficult in today’s world to find positivity and rise above all the negativity that surrounds us.

God has given us the beautiful words of the Bible, to bring us closer to Him but also to lift each other up in times of trouble.

Let us encourage each other with His own words and remind ourselves and our neighbours that we are all children of the Holy Father.

No matter where you look in Holy Scripture, hope abounds and faith that God will help us through our trials is abundant.

From the stories in the Old Testament of the goodness God shows through the struggles and triumphs of Abraham, Moses, and Jacob to our own redemption story through the victory of Jesus on the cross, encouragement seeps through the text of this ancient tome.

Here we’ve provided a few Bible verses that will not only encourage you in your life, but gifts that you can bestow on others by encouraging them.

Be a force for good today and give to Jesus your heart by passing on one of these Bible verses to encourage someone in their struggles and let them know that they are loved.

Encourage one another with these bible verses

2 Chronicles 7

If My people,

who are called by My name,

will humble themselves

and pray and seek My face

and turn from their wicked ways,

then I will hear from heaven

and I will forgive their sin

and I will heal their land

Such a relevant scripture for what’s happening in the world right now.

THIS is the answer.

Prayer and repentance.

There’s never a better time than now.

Romans Chapter 10 goes on to explain just that.

Romans 10 : 13

For whoever calls upon

the name of the Lord

shall be saved.

For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There are many scriptures that show us the gateway to heaven, and that’s through prayer.

Sit down together as a family and pray for your loved ones to be saved. Because the Lord clearly states that once you call up the name of the Lord, you will be saved.

I know this can be a difficult phase in your life – in all our lives. But there is an answer and there is a way out.

Believe that God’s with you and working a miracle for you.

This leads me to the final verse for today, which is from Psalms Chapter 23

Psalms 23:4

Even though I walk

through the darkest valley

of the shadow of death

I will fear no evil

for You are with me

Your rod and your staff,

they will comfort me.

Never let fear consume you. Sure there are things that might cause fear to creep inside of you but remember our God is bigger than your fear.

Deuteronomy 31 : 6

Be strong and courageous.

Do not be afraid or terrified because of them,

for the Lord your God goes with you;

he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.

Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

In my distress, I called upon the Lord, and he answered me.

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Romans 15:2

Each of us should please our neighbours for their good, to build them up.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.

Romans 1:11-12

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

2 Corinthians 1:5

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

Galatians 6:2

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Ephesians 4:29

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

1 Peter 4:8-10

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
