God is within her she will not fall – Psalms 46:5

Isaiah 41:10

So do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

We need not be afraid or distressed because we have the presence of our God. He won’t leave us alone, and he is greater and more powerful than any problem.

 

Nahum 1:7

The Lord is good; he is a refuge in the day of trouble and a protector of those who trusts in him.

 

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world gives it. Do not be troubled or discouraged

 

Psalm 31:24

2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and self-control.

God fills us with His Holy Spirit and enables us to face life’s situations. We should be courageous.

 

Psalm 55:16-18

But I will cry out to God, and the Lord will save me. Morning, noon and night, I cry out in my distress, and he hears me. Though many fight against me, he rescues me; he saves my life in the battle against me.

There are times when we forget to cry out to God in our difficulties. We allow ourselves to be blinded by the threats around us and the size of the problems.

Whenever we cry out to God, he hears us.

He reminds us that our life is in his hands, and in him we have salvation.

 

Isaiah 40:26

Also, extraordinary and difficult our circumstances may be, we can be sure that God is far greater and mightier. By focusing on his greatness, we do not allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by circumstances, and we strengthen our trust in him, in his love and care.

 

Psalm 37: 23-24

Obey God, and he will strengthen your walk. You may stumble, but if in your heart you seek to please him and hold fast to him, you will not fall because he will sustain you.

Jesus’s death on the cross and resurrection assures us that victory has already been won. In our troubles and sorrows, we can remember that Jesus has already won eternal life for us, and no one can take it away from us.

 

Psalm 16-7-8

I will bless the Lord, who gives me counsel; even at night, my conscience reproves me. I am ever mindful of the Lord; with him at my right hand, nothing can cause me to fall.

God counsels us day or night. If we are attentive and quiet the voices of doubt or despair, we will be able to hear his gentle and loving voice showing us what we should do. He will guide us, and nothing will cause us to fall.
