I enjoy working from home as a blogger. It makes me a full-time income from home and I work as much as I like. It is a great form of passive income as I make money even on the weekends or on vacation.

Let’s look at all the different way you can make money from home, including blogging.

1. Blogging

I am starting this list with blogging, as I have tried and tested it myself and seen huge success with it.

I began my blog back in 2018 and have been making money from home since. It started with a few hundred dollars a month and less than a year later I was making a full-time income from home.

The investment with starting a blog is less, as you can begin one with under $100 a year.

2. Virtual Bookkeeping

This is second on the list because it is currently one of the highest paying work from home job.

If you are good with numbers this is definitely a job worth trying as freelance bookkeepers can earn up to $60/hr.

As an online bookkeeper, you do not require previous bookkeeping or accounting knowledge or a degree. However, training is necessary to understand how the system works.

The job of a virtual bookkeeper is to handle financial transactions of small business owners. You will not need to worry about handling the taxes as well, as that would be the job for an accountant.

 

3. Proofreading Jobs

If you are a grammar nerd, you can earn anywhere between $37,000 – $60,000/year as an online proofreader. The job of a virtual proofreader is to check for grammatical errors and sentence structure in online content.

Most online business owners and bloggers require proofreaders to check content on their blogs, social media, emails or to make corrections on their ebooks or online course.

4. Freelance Writing

As a freelance writer, you can work for online magazines, bloggers or online store owners to write posts for their business.

Freelance writers get paid per word. Usually, range from $0.08 per word and upwards. This is just a rough estimate and it can vary based on experience. 5. Illustrator

If you have an interest in drawing, you can convert your paper drawings into digital art as an illustrator.

Illustrators can make a fulltime income from home, create personalised greeting cards, wedding portraits, business cards and ebook covers.

6. Sell Websites

Did you know that you can create and sell websites for profit?

You can choose to either create your own website or buy someone else’s website and sell.

I have created two websites so far, and from personal experience, I can tell you it will only take you a couple of days to build a website from scratch. And if you are a good writer that can push out content regularly, you can have a content filled website in a month that’s ready to sell.

7. Virtual Stylist

As a fashion stylist from home, you can provide virtual styling advice either one-on-one or in a group.

8. Get Paid to Work on Pinterest

There is more than one way to earn on Pinterest.

One is through direct affiliate marketing, where you share affiliate pin images on Pinterest.

The next is working from home as a Pinterest Virtual Assistant.

Social media managers are also well paid, with many earning a six-figure income based on experience.

A social media manager is someone who manages a companies social media accounts. It could be just one or all of them depending on what the company requires.

Usual tasks include creating promotional content and responding to comments left on social posts. The type of promotional content includes regular updates about companies products posts on their Facebook business page or content promotion on Instagram.
