How to organize your life in 70 simple ways. Everything from time management to motivation along with saving money tips

Start of the day

1. Meditate daily – Clearing your mind and putting your thoughts to rest is a good way to declutter your brain from anything worrying you. A short meditation session for just 10 minutes a day can do wonders.

2. Pray and read the bible – It’s great to get into the habit of reading the scripture every day. Try and include this into your daily routine. The best place to get comfort is from the word of the Lord, and doing this first thing in the morning is a big boost to your mental health as well.

3. Show gratitude – Be happy and grateful for even the littlest things. Whether its for food, family or your work – show gratitude for the abundance you are able to enjoy.

4. Wake up early if you don’t work late nights – After a good night’s rest, your mind is free in the morning, ready to take on any task. Start with the hardest job in the morning when you have a bucket load of energy.

Plus you will be pleased you’ve done something if you happen to slow down – or if there is an unexpected turn of events – during the day.

5. Have a hydrating morning drink – Instead of hitting yourself with caffeine the first thing in the morning, try this hydrating drink with just a couple of ingredients.

6. 5-minute stretches and yoga – This increases your flexibility and improves performance in physical activities. Best of all it is great for stress relief and can calm your mind.

7.  Exercise – If time permits a short exercise session in the morning can do so much good to your body. You don’t need to run to the gym for this. A simple exercise routine at home will do the trick.

8. Wake up willing to forgive – It could be a co-worker, your best friend or a member of your family. But if you are ready to forgive, you are much calmer and relaxed than if you carry a burden of stress inside you.

9. Follow a morning self-care routine – Each one is different, pick and choose a few morning habits to stick to and keep at it every single day. Once you follow a routine for a few days, it is going to become a habit you keep for life!

10. Podcast – Listen to a motivating podcast while you get ready for the day. This helps start your day on a positive note.

11. Let the morning fresh air into your house (at least for a few minutes).

12. Take a short walk – If you have the right weather, choose to go for a morning run or a short walk.

13. Enjoy – Be ready to enjoy your day. Believe today is going to be good and get ready with a positive mindset.

During the day

17. Eight glasses of water a day – If this seems hard, motivate yourself by buying a new water bottle that you are happy to carry around. This will definitely encourage you to drink your water.

18. Reduce sugars in your diet – sodas contain way more sugar than your body needs, and it’s only going to pile on those calories you don’t need. If you need a sugary drink try coconut water instead. It got the sweetness that you crave and it’s natural when compared to a soda can.

19. Declutter wardrobes once a month – when it comes to decluttering, the biggest thing holding us back is the part where you trash things. I know it might be hard to let go of things, but on the bright side, getting rid of things allows you room for things you need.

24. Donate things you don’t need to charity – Rather than trashing things if you believe the item is in good condition, consider giving it away to charity.
